The move.

Well our move went well, but mega stressful.  Just had a couple of weeks off to settle in.  Will be taking photos of the next five horses I have made. Thank you to everyone who continues to visit my blog.

Moving

Sorry I haven't been on here much.  We are in the throws of moving house.  I have still been making models, I have 6 horses ready but no time to take photos of them yet.  I was going to wait until we are settled into our new home. Please stick with me.

Slow progress

Still here in case you are wondering.  Having to pace myself now due to health issues, but still managing to get sewing done, though very slowly.  Finding my sewing very therapeutic.  Here are my las test creations.  First up is Paisley, running off to be with his pals.  He is up for sale in my etsy shop.
Next is another rider doll, she is sold.
Hope you like them.  Have another two horses in the pipeline, so stay tuned.  I will try to post more often.  I will always be around at some point.

Bodhran the Appaloosa

Slowly still sewing away.  I am slow, but getting there.  I put more details into my models, so they take me longer these days.  They really help me unwind.  Still trying to make riders, I'm getting there, just need to practice more.  Just got to work out to make a good riding helmet.
Here is the lovely Appaloosa, Bodhran, have fallen in love with him. I love all my models, just some turn out better than others.

Thought I would show you my rider in progress, I haven't quite finished one of her boots, she has no hat yet.

still making felties, just very slowly

Well it has been an age since I last posted on here.  Been through a few trials and tribulations.  Can't say I am back on track, but just taking each day as it comes.  Not been making commission at the moment.  Using my sewing to help me relax.  Here are a couple I have managed to complete.  Mimzy I start the beginning of December, and have only just managed to finish her.  Well here they are.
This is Mimzy the shire.

This is Topaz the gelding.
Hopeful it shouldn't be to long before I have another model to post.

Haflinger brooch

Have made another brooch, this time a Haflinger.  This is another one of my favourite breed.  I would love to own a Norwegian fjord and a Haflinger.  I have been working on some commission felties as well, just slow progress as usual.  I wish I could work faster.  I want to make a 1/9th scale model of the horse in my dream the other night.  He was beautiful, though a little excitable.  I would like to keep him to show.  Buy nice accessories for him and such.  Well here is the brooch I made.

Something a bit different.

I hate throwing the little pieces of felt I have left over after my models, so decided to make this little brooch.  As you can see he is a Norwegian Fjord my favourite breed, well one of.  This little brooch measures around 2.5 inches x 2.5 inches.  I have been working on some commissions, very slowly, my mode is slow. Life make my speed this way.  If I had my way I would sew allday but this wouldn't be good for my health.  I am working on my cosplay costume for MCM London on the 25th of this month.  I am going as The Spine from one of my favourite bands Steam powdered giraffe.  Hope you all have a great Halloween xxx
